Your first hobby. Fish sell well raw at 100 G+, and rainy or rainbow weather brings rare spawns — always carry your rod.
Crops grow in real time. Start with tomatoes for quick turnaround, then shift to potatoes and wheat; queue corn overnight.
Choose Cooking at D.G. 5. Cooked dishes multiply the value of everything you grow and catch; Bug Catching and Birdwatching can wait.
Pet care unlocks later (Dog Care after that). Pure comfort content — no rush, enjoy it when it comes.
Yes. Heartopia is a free download on PC, iOS, and Android, with optional purchases: Heart Diamonds (premium currency), a cosmetic gacha, and season passes. No core gameplay is paywalled — spending is for outfits, furniture, vehicles, and convenience.
Heartopia is available on iOS, Android, and Windows PC (via the official client and, since January 16, 2026, Steam). There is no official Nintendo Switch, PS5, or native Mac version as of August 2026. Steam Deck is rated "Playable," but note the game always requires an internet connection, even solo.
The daily reset is 6:00 AM server time — it refreshes Resident Requests, shop stock, foraging spawns, daily tasks, and relocates the Flawless Fluorite and Roaming Oak nodes. Weekly tasks and special shop stock reset Saturday 6:00 AM. Reset timing follows your chosen server region, so pick the region matching your timezone and your friends.
Add friends by UID through the Friendship Journal (magnifying-glass icon), then visit them via the journal's Visit option. Both players must be on the same server region. Towns are capped at 12 players and the server balances placement across friend networks, so two online friends can still land in different town instances — use Visit to join their session directly.
No. Your house, furniture, and garden layout move with you; only your plot position in the new town may change. One caveat: long inactivity can get your account reassigned to a different town.
Three ways: eat cooked food (instant, works anywhere), sleep in a bed (about 1 energy per 5 seconds — log out while sleeping for a full restore at next login), or bathe in the Onsen hot springs (1 energy per 10 seconds). Below 20 energy you cannot run. Remember that only tool actions consume energy — walking, building, and socializing are free.
Cooking, at Massimo's café in the town center. It is the strongest money-maker (cooked dishes sell for 2–4x their raw ingredients), synergizes with the Fishing and Gardening you already have, and its dishes restore energy. Bug Catching and Birdwatching can both be unlocked later with additional Hobby Expansion Tickets.
Clear all 5 daily Resident Requests (Gold plus Contribution Medals), cook fruit into jam before selling (4 blueberries = 64G raw vs. 170G as jam), sell fish worth 100G+ raw, and sweep the daily shop rotations for underpriced stock. Sell everything to Albert Jr., the roaming gold merchant in the Suburbs — track his icon on the map.
You cannot rush it — D.G. progression is deliberately time-gated. The five daily Resident Requests from Mayor Atara are the only reliable source of Contribution Medals (~50/day), and skipped days cannot be recovered. Do the requests every day, follow the main story quests, and finish the weekly requests on the weekend.
Moonlight Crystals: inventory expansion and quality-of-life upgrades first, then gacha banners. Wishing Stars: furniture, clothing, hairstyles, and recipes you actually want. Exhibition Passes: save them until you can reach a limited banner's pity (community-estimated around 80–100 pulls) — 60 passes buy a ten-pull with a guaranteed Rare Exhibit, and duplicates convert to Ticket Stubs for recolors.
